2nd Skills and Training Expo and Job Fair Set This August

Jobseekers, employees seeking to improve their skills and knowledge, and entrepreneurs-to-be are invited to take part in the 2nd Skills and Training Expo and Job Fair slated on August 21 – 22, 2009 at the 4th Level, Expo Trade Hall of Festival Supermall in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

Organized by EventWorx Company, the event is both a skills training exhibit and recruitment fair aimed at gathering employers, authorized recruiters, skills-training institutions, even livelihood training providers, as well as Filipinos seeking employment locally and abroad to meet for a two-day integrated skills training cum recruitment event.

The expo will invite skills training institutions to showcase their newest course offerings to the public. The training sessions will be focused on individuals looking to improve their skill set, including those professionals already employed but looking to shift careers and acquire new skills to become eligible for much higher-paying jobs locally and even overseas.

A special section of the trade hall will feature learning opportunities in entrepreneurship, business management, as well as livelihood workshops and seminars to be led by some of the popular names in the local business scene.

Most importantly, the even will feature job openings locally and overseas. Overseas job orders will be offered by Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) licensed recruiters in cooperation with the Philippine Association of Service Exporters (PASEI) and the Department of Labor and Employment http://www.dole.gov.ph/ (DOLE).
